New Years would be the day of no sleep right? Wrong! If you live with or next to someone with a dog that never stops barking for Fourth of July.
My roommate has a dog who barks and barks for Fourth of July. I know I shouldn’t be getting annoyed but I am. But there is a difference between guard dog and excessive barking.
Then I say when I get a dog I will train him. However he is only barking because he hears fireworks and wants to protect everyone. I knows that is what dogs do but it makes me think whether I want a dog later or not.
Today is the one day out of the year where I contradict my stance on dogs because I have had to listen to this for the past three years on Fourth of July. Frankly I wish there was a way for him to not bark at them but that’s out of my control. I feel he barks a little to excessively and it’s not just to be a guard dog.
I also wish I could go see fireworks but there not fun todo alone. Also, I don’t know anyone who isn’t doing fireworks with their family so I would be doing them alone. Not to mention having to do them at the house so the dog would freak out more than he already has.
Maybe I should cut this post short if I don’t pet her dog he barks more so for my sanity and so I don’t get a worse migraine that can’t go away I will. I hope you have a happy Fourth and I hope you don’t live by a dog who barks all night at the fireworks.
