All of you should know by now; however, for those who do not the novel coronavirus has taken over. My city is still has a stay at home order in place. We can leave for groceries but that is pretty much it. Everything else is closed. Even big box stores like Target and Walmart have non-essential aisles blocked off. Therefore, the only things that are available are the essentials. Some cities have drivethrus open; however, the cities near me do not allow drive thrus. Therefore, we are even more limited in what we can do during this quarantine.
I am currently not attending externship. I recently found out can return on Monday. However, while I have been at home my university has given me extra assignments. In addition I have been studying for my board exam. I wish this virus didn’t happen because it has changed my plans. The testing center has been closed for almost a month now and I had to cancel an interview due to the virus.
However, I am excited for when I can go in for this interview! I hope it’s sooner than later. Also, the testing center near me has just recently started to reopen and has listed a few dates that they are available for exams. I signed up for a Wednesday. I’m curious to see how the virus affects the testing centers protocol. Hopefully things are starting to return to normal soon. This month that the state has been on quarantine has to have felt like the longest month in awhile. I can not wait for the gyms to reopen. In addition to get back to my schedule. Most people say ‘I would do [blank] if I only had more time’. At the moment I feel like I have an unlimited amount of time; however, I still feel like I run out of time in the day. Funny how that seems to happen.
Update, I passed my board exam last Wednesday. The testing center procedure was a little different than when I took the first bard of my board exams last summer. However, all things considered the process still was very easy. The testing center was doing everything they possibly could to keep the staff and test takers safe. In fact, I thought I would not be able to wear a mask because it would be seen as cheating; however, if the testing administrator looked it over the test taker was allowed to wear a mask while taking their exam.
