Normal people would steal AC from the library on a heat advisory day. I would totally do that because that sounds like a fantastic idea; however, where I live the library is run by volunteers because I live in a small town. We did have AC. It broke on the hottest day of the year thus far. You would never guess how.
So since there is not many places to get free AC I’m in the house in front of the fan- well technically my cousin’s dog is in front of it then me. We would of had AC but as I said it broke. Did you guess how? I don’t think you did.
Well even if you didn’t guess here is how it broke…. It fell off the wall. Yes, fell off the wall. Instead of the AC unit being outside on the ground it is mounted on the side of the house. Why you ask, frankly I’m unsure, it wasn’t my decision to make how the AC was installed when it was put in the house. But when I buy a house it is going on the ground so the AC can’t fall off the wall. I find that ridiculous. Why didn’t they install it in studs if it was going on the side of the house outside. All the AC/heating ( its a 2 in one system) units inside our fine its the main panel outside. Since the next few days are in the 100s fans will have to do.
At least on the bright side I get a “free sauna” for the next couple of days. Saunas are suppose to burn a lot of calories right :P. However, cleaning the house will not be fun because its my week todo so. I might be making people wake up earlier than they want to because who wants to clean the whole house when its 100 degrees.
